| Kasia Nicklin is fast
becoming one of the most successful young kart racing drivers in the
country, making a name for herself as an impressive contender in the competitive
racing circuit - and she is still only ten years old! Sponsored by Cecil & Larter Saab this local schoolgirl recently showed tremendous promise in the Club 2000 owner-driver championship at the Red Lodge Karting Circuit near Newmarket. Back in July Kasia steered herself confidently through the first three heats to emerge victorious in the final and in August she improved her performance still further by setting a new cadet lap record on the newly extended 1200 m track. Having now won the 2006 Kasia has improved upon her third place finish in last years championship. Kasia drove her first kart when she was just seven years old at the Anglia Indoor Karting track in Ipswich and showed such a passion for the sport that her parents |
quickly enrolled her in the circuit's cadet club. She has since gone from strength to strength and the last two years have seen Kasia regularly compete in both local and national championships. Local dealership Cecil & Larter Saab continues to offer support and funding to Kasia's she works towards her dream, which is to compete alongside the nations finest race kart drivers in the British Championships.
